As the global voice and umbrella federation of the business events industry, the Events Industry Council is grounded in a belief that diverse voices make us stronger, and our collaboration expands our reach and impact.

With this foundational principle, we are actively seeking to grow our membership in 2024 and beyond.

Furthermore, we believe our Board and Council Members, speaking from personal experience, are best suited to articulate the value of EIC Membership.

We’ve created this Membership Campaign Toolkit to make it easy for you to recruit new members.

Instructions:

1. Review this Association Contacts spreadsheet and sign up for 5 or more organisations who you want to take the lead on inviting. Note: There are two tabs — primary targets and secondary targets. Please review both. You may make your selections from either.
2. Download the new Value of Membership brochure.
3. Download this email template and adapt to make it your own.
4. Send emails with the PDF attachment and update the status on the Association Contacts spreadsheet. Please copy Amy (acalvert@eventscouncil.org)
5. When they respond, offer to schedule a call to discuss Membership.
6. Update the spreadsheet with “actions taken” and “status” for each of the organisations you’ve selected.
