Gala Kompasy Vistuli and the National Celebration of Global Meetings Industry Day (GMID) 2026

In connection with the upcoming Global Meetings Industry Day, taking place on May 6, 2026, the Vistula School of Hospitality is once again organizing a unique initiative that combines two key events for the tourism and meetings industry: Gala Kompasy Vistuli Gala and the National Celebration of Global Meetings Industry Day (GMID) 2026.

The Kompasy Vistuli Gala is an awards ceremony honoring graduates of the Vistula School of Hospitality who have demonstrated outstanding professional achievements, innovation, or a significant contribution to the development of the tourism, hospitality and HORECA sectors, the meetings industry, and dietetics. The award winners serve as ambassadors of educational excellence and examples of professional success, inspiring the next generation of industry professionals and students.

A central element of the event will also be the National Celebration of Global Meetings Industry Day (GMID) – an annual celebration of the meetings and business events industry, bringing together leaders and experts from the MICE sector (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, Exhibitions) from Poland and around the world.

Gala Kompasy Vistuli and GMID 2026 is a nationwide event that integrates the academic community, private sector, public institutions, and media. Its organization contributes to building cross-sector cooperation, promoting Poland as an attractive MICE destination, and strengthening professional competencies within the tourism and events industry.
