Commanding Singapore’s skyline with its iconic architecture since its opening in 2010, Marina Bay Sands is Asia’s ultimate address for luxury hospitality, playing host to a vibrant line-up of leisure, entertainment and business events throughout the year. Its award-winning Marina Bay Sands Expo & Convention Centre spans five floors and 1.3 million square feet, delivering cutting-edge infrastructure and tech innovation for unparalleled event flexibility.
The venue celebrated a remarkable 2025 with over 2,000 events and nearly 1.4 million delegates, with multiple events taking over various floors and transforming the venue into a vibrant hub of innovative, networking and immersive experiences.

Key Programmes and Initiatives for 2026
Innovation remains the transformative force of Marina Bay Sands Expo & Convention Centre’s vision to redefine the future of events in an experience-driven society. As events continue to evolve into omni-channel experiences, Marina Bay Sands expanded engagement beyond physical boundaries into the digital realm, culminating in the birth of the Marina Bay Sands Metaverse in collaboration with The Doodle People in late 2025.
Clients are enabled to create dynamic, interactive environments where delegates engage as avatars, embark on gamified quests, and share content seamlessly. This cutting-edge solution complements the existing Hybrid Broadcast Studio, reinforcing Marina Bay Sands’ omnichannel capabilities and offering planners a flexible, memorable alternative to traditional formats.
Adding to this immersive approach, Marina Bay Sands elevated culinary creativity with concepts like whimsical cloud canapés starring signature dishes from its signature restaurants such as KOMA, Mott 32, and Yardbird Southern Table & Bar, suspended from helium balloons to spark playful interaction and conversation to enhance networking.
Extending the delegate journey beyond meetings
Delegates seek authentic cultural experiences that showcase the essence of a destination. Building on the success of the Marina Bay Precinct Strategy, which provides clients with limitless customisation through partnerships with 12 other hotels, 10 attractions, and hundreds of retail and dining establishments with a collective 18 Michelin stars, Marina Bay Sands launched the Marina Bay Civic Immersion Trail in late 2025.
Designed in collaboration with facilitators from AND Pte Ltd, this programme is curated for C-suite participants, blending cultural enrichment with leadership inspiration. Through guided explorations of Singapore’s heritage and the visionary principles of its founding leaders, the trail uncovers pivotal leadership lessons behind defining moments that shaped the nation’s evolution — including the creation of Marina Bay Sands itself.
By inviting senior decision-makers to engage with the city in a way that is both personal and meaningful, the experience fosters deep emotional resonance and strengthens their affinity with Singapore’s story. These reflections not only inspire but also connect powerfully to today’s business challenges, creating lasting impact and true memorability.

Integrating wellness as a strategic imperative
As wellness tourism continues its upward trajectory, Marina Bay Sands continues to lead by integrating well-being into the event experience. Its signature programme, THRIVE, offers a holistic suite of physical, mental and intellectual wellness sessions aimed at enhancing conference delegates’ focus during events. THRIVE Physically features practices like Sound Meditation to enhance mindfulness and Soul Flow to harmonize energy within the body, while THRIVE Intellectually delivers evidence-based workshops led by a certified Positive Psychology Practitioner, covering topics such as Self-Regulation and Energy Forecasting to combat burnout and boost productivity. By embedding wellness into event design, Marina Bay Sands empowers planners to create experiences that nurture both professional growth and personal well-being.
“At Marina Bay Sands, our mission is to push the boundaries of what events can achieve by elevating luxury hospitality through design excellence and immersive experiences, while serving as a catalyst for innovation in Singapore’s MICE industry. Every event is an opportunity to inspire change, and through innovation, collaboration and an unwavering commitment to sustainability, we aim to position Singapore as a global MICE leader and set benchmarks that resonate worldwide.”
