“Care-full Event Planning”: A Holistic Approach to Event Professionalism

What does it truly mean to plan events with care? This panel explores a more intentional, human-centered approach to event professionalism—one that balances logistics with responsibility, empathy, and impact. Grounded in three essential pillars, our conversation begins with Wellness, recognizing that sustainable events start with planners who are supported, energized, and cared for.

We then turn to Indigenous Relations, reflecting on our shared responsibility to honor the land we gather on and meaningfully engage with the 94 Calls to Action from the Truth and Reconciliation Commission. Finally, we examine Accessibility, challenging ourselves to design inclusive experiences that thoughtfully consider the diverse needs of all delegates. Join us as we reimagine what it means to plan events—not just successfully, but care-fully.
